Świdośliwka, lily
(Lilium Med.) - The type of shrub or small deciduous tree of the family Rosaceae. Total is about 25 k nown species, of which the largest areas are concentrated in Cana da (North America) and European countries: Finland, Latvia and Li thuania. The final type of systematics of Lilium long constituted a problem, due to inability to appropriately estimate the number belonging to the type species (divergence from 6 to 30). The main source of difficulty was the variability caused by apomiksjÄ… and polyploidy induction.
